Well, as I expected we had a LONG day yesterday. Owen was very sick all day. I think I went through about 30 diapers and was fortunate that he managed not to throw up on the carpet or his bedding (just the tile and hardwood floor...oh, and mommy! :-) He did get a couple hours of sleep. His fever reached 103 degrees this morning around 4:00am. I laid awake with him and called the emergency line at his doctor. We managed to get the fever down a little, but were first in line at the pediatrician this morning! :-) The Dr. said it's just a really bad stomach virus going around. Hopefully he'll be able to get some sleep today and can keep some fluid down. We left the office with some diaper rash cream and strict instruction... no church nursery for at least a month. Oh Boy! I thought all this sickness was behind us. We're hanging in there, I stopped and rented some Thomas and Piggley Winks DVDs, so we should be set for the day!

It is so hard when they are sick! Although, I do think it is a little easier when they are older and can tell you what hurts, etc. I hope he gets better soon. No church nursery for a month?! Wow! That's hard stuff!
Oh Dear...that's not good news at all. I would do...and have been doing the same thing with videos. I think we need to go through a week without them when they are all better just so my Riley can learn how to entertain herself again! It's just SO much easier when they are watching Baby Einstein or something when they're sick. It takes their mind off of it and I don't mind that at all! Take care and know that we're praying for him AND YOU! :)
