Things I have Learned this Week

This week was a long week. I have learned a lot of things about children, especially SICK children. Thought I would jot a few of them down, for my future reference, just in case the bug ever hits our family again.

1. You can never have enough diapers and wipes.

2. Jello is NOT a good thing to feed a child with a stomach virus.

3. Never, under any circumstances let your child watch a "Thomas" DVD all night on continuous play, they will NEVER forget it! :-)

4. Do not stuff your child's most precious security items in the washing machine in front of them.

5. Sleep whenever they sleep.

Hi Karen, it's Sarah Coley. I can't believe how big Owen is now! Julia just got over the stomach virus - not good after feeding her milk!

Take care!

#4 made me laugh out loud! I will never forget the look of horror on Olivia's face as I threw her precious lamby in the big bad washer. Bad bad moment. Glad Owen has perked back up, and you have learned those valuable lessons in the process!
