We went to Owen's doctor today for a re-check on his ears and his 1 year wellness check. Everything went great. His ear infections are gone. He still has a little fluid. His doctor sent his referral to the ENT doctor so hopefully we will be able to set up an appointment with him soon to discuss tubes. Owen weighed 28lbs and was a whopping 34 inches tall!!!! (95% for both) The doctor thinks he looks perfectly proportioned and healthy...right down to the orange glow to his skin! :-) It means he likes his veggies (green AND orange). Overall I was pleased with the visit. We are so blessed that all we have to be concerned about are ear infections. I believe tubes will help tremendously. If anyone is concerned about his hearing, let me assure you that it is just fine. He is a constant talker. His latest and greatest is "Thank You”. He is also walking about 6 steps on his own. He’s not our little baby anymore he is our little active toddler. Hard to believe! He’s so much fun!
